Rasa Kitchen is a modern Indonesian restaurant in Perth, blending traditional flavours with contemporary dining.
This branding project focused on creating an identity that feels warm, soulful and rooted in culture while giving the restaurant a premium, memorable presence.
From logo design to packaging, menus, photography direction and social content, the full brand system helps Rasa Kitchen stand out in a competitive hospitality market and connect emotionally with diners.
Project Overview
Rasa Kitchen needed a brand identity that captured the soul of Indonesian cuisine while appealing to a modern Australian market. The goal was to create a visual language that felt rich and cultural, but still refined, contemporary and scalable across dine-in, takeaway, delivery and merchandise.
The final identity includes:
Brand logo suite
Colour palette and typography
Packaging design
Takeaway bags and labels
Menu and poster design
Staff aprons and uniforms
Food truck wrap concept
Website design direction
Social templates and in-venue signage
Each element was crafted to deliver consistency across every customer touchpoint.
Bringing the Rasa Kitchen Brand to Life
Rasa Kitchen needed a bold, authentic and culturally rich brand identity that captured the heart of modern Indonesian cuisine.
The brand rollout included a full visual identity, packaging suite, website concept, food truck graphics and in-store collateral; all designed to help the restaurant stand out in Perth’s competitive hospitality scene.
We developed a vibrant and contemporary design direction inspired by Indonesian heritage, street-food culture and the energy of modern dining. This included a custom colour palette, expressive typography, hand-drawn patterns and dynamic layouts that work seamlessly across digital and physical touchpoints.
From takeaway packaging and uniforms to menus, posters, signage and the food truck exterior, every asset was created to deliver a cohesive, memorable brand experience — helping Rasa build recognition, attract loyal customers and communicate the flavour-driven personality behind the restaurant.
Indonesian cuisine continues to influence global dining trends, with food culture publications emphasising the importance of strong visual identity in modern hospitality.
