She’s Honestly Mental is more than a brand. It’s a movement; a raw, real and radically honest space for women navigating mental health, trauma, motherhood and personal growth.

 

With a fast-growing podcast, private community, email list and consulting arm, the founder needed a brand identity powerful enough to hold the message, elevate the mission and support expansion into multiple content streams.

 

I was engaged to develop the full brand identity and visual direction for She’s Honestly Mental, ensuring the brand felt unapologetic, grounded and built for long-term scale.

The Mission

A brand built to make women feel seen, supported and understood.

The movement exists to create conversation — the kind most women have been conditioned to hide.

The brand needed to reflect that: strong, unfiltered, safe and empowering.

Every element had to communicate honesty without harshness, and community without cliché.

The Challenge

The founder needed a brand identity that:

  • stood apart from typical “mental health” aesthetics

  • felt both raw and elevated

  • translated across podcast covers, social templates, email graphics and community spaces

  • could evolve into merchandise, workshops and long-form content

  • attracted women craving real talk, not toxic positivity

This wasn’t just a logo — it was the foundation of a movement.

A bold, emotionally resonant brand identity built for impact.

 

I crafted a full identity system including:

 

  • typography with strength and softness

  • a warm but grounded colour palette

  • custom bespoke brand illustrations
  • a headline-led storytelling style

  • raw textures balanced with refined layout

  • a flexible grid for podcast graphics, social content and merchandise

  • a visual tone that feels real, human and unfiltered

The result is a brand with presence — confident, honest and unmistakably feminine without being delicate.
